If you are interested in purchasing a puppy from Sunset Acres Dobermans, the first step is to fill out and submit our puppy application. Please allow several days for a response regarding your approval.

 

Once approved, you will be placed on a waiting list for our upcoming litter.  When the puppies are born from the upcoming litter, a $400 deposit (goes toward full purchase price) will be required to hold a spot for a puppy. Placement is in order by timeline deposits are received.

 

Deposits are 75% refundable if for any reason you decide to back out.

 

We will allow you to choose your puppy at 6 weeks of age, we like to wait until this point so the puppy has time to express their personalities, temperaments, and behaviors. This can be done through an in-person visit or through video chat.

 

For those who have elected to do so, Puppies receive their Ear Cropping at around 7-8 weeks old by our selected veterinarian specialist.

 

Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. All puppies should be picked up between 8-9 weeks. Any puppies that will be staying past 9 weeks will incur a $15/day care fee.
